Mao: The Unknown Story (April 6, 2006) Mao is clearly the worst monster in world history. He wanted to destroy, not just as a means of gaining power, but also as an end in itself.
Giving Real Meaning to Veterans Day (November 11, 2005) Honoring our past soldiers requires that we ask our future ones not to sacrifice their values, but to uphold them.

Tax Injustice Day: Altruism vs. Americanism (April 15, 2004) The opponents of tax cuts do not want justice. They want redistribution of wealth. They want to confiscate the income earned by the wealthy and give it to people who have not earned it.
Three Cheers for Wal-Mart (February 22, 2004) No one has the right to prevent businesses from expanding to new locations. Communities Should Welcome Wal-Mart--In the Name of Freedom and Justice
Giving Real Meaning to Veterans Day: Fighting for Freedom is No Sacrifice (November 9, 2003) Veterans Day arouses three emotions in most Americans: solemnity, because it celebrates the veterans who have defended our great country; sadness, because so many have lost their lives in the process; and pride, because they have fought so well.

Workers of the World, End Poverty: Unite for Global Capitalism! (September 12, 2003) We should scornfully ignore the nihilist protestors--they have nothing positive to offer. We should not only allow global capitalism; we should welcome it and foster it in every way possible. It is time to rephrase Karl Marx: Workers of the world unite for global capitalism; you have nothing to lose but your poverty.
Rational Selfishness and the Great Wealth Creator (July 22, 2003) The proper antidote to counterfeit egoism is not altruism but genuine-rational-egoism.

Live Free or Die: Giving Real Meaning to Veterans Day (November 11, 2002) The best way we can honor our veterans and give real meaning to Veterans Day--aside from ceremonies honoring their past and present dedication and bravery--is to promise that we will go to war only when America's interests as a free nation are threatened.

Congressional Hysteria Will Not Make Every Businessman Honest (July 26, 2002) In response to the recent discoveries of dishonest practices at Enron and other companies, both houses of Congress have worked themselves up to a state of hysteria. They have written a slew of new business regulations, which are expected to be signed into law very soon, without holding extensive hearings, without having conducted serious legal research and without even having clearly identified the extent and causes of the current problems. Congress should have started by asking itself the following question: Why, despite a never-ending slew of new business regulations over the past 100 years--does business dishonesty still occur?

What We Should Remember on Martin Luther King Day (January 21, 2002) On Martin Luther King Day--and every day--we should focus on the proper antidote to racism and the proper alternative to racial thinking: individualism. Animal's "Rights" Versus Man's Rights: Animal "Rights" Activists Want to Sacrifice Man's Rights (August 1, 2000) Animal "rights" advocates claim that they condemn man's use of animals because they believe in the "morality" of upholding animal rights. "Rights," however, can only be held by beings who are capable of reasoning and choosing. This excludes animals. The people who claim otherwise actually want to sacrifice man's rights -- and welfare -- to creatures who cannot think or grasp any concept, much less the concept of "morality."

Speech on Elián Gonzalez in Washington, D.C., Part 1 (May 5, 2000) On July 4, 1776 America's Founding Fathers identified the fundamental moral principle on which our country was based. This principle was that every individual possessed the inalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
